alfie ironman guide Hey guys! It's Alfie here and this is going to be a guide on how to create a HCIM/IM, fly though the early and mid game, and get to late game PvMing as quickly as possible. At the start, you should be a hoarder and buy all the cheap stuff from shops and throw it in your bank since you end up needing a lot of it for quests. When the guide states to do a quest, either use a youtube guide of your choice or my link. I will be putting little tidbit tips and tricks about the quest. I recommend using https://runelite.net/ for this guide since I will be mentioning it a few times throughout this guide and it's very helpful. This is purely a help guide… I advise you to play OSRS how you want. It's a game where you can do anything but if you want, it's here. Enjoy! *** IF YOU ARE A HARDCORE, ONCE YOU GET THE ECTOPHIAL, ALWAYS BRING IT AS A 1-CLICK TELEPORT OUT AND ALWAYS BRING FOOD EVERYWHERE *** 3-Ticking an object can be done with a lot of skills and usually involves: 15 swamp tar, a guam, and pestle and mortar, OR leather vambraces and kebbit claws. Experience can be faster with these, and I suggest looking up Youtube guides on how to do each skill if you want to be extra nerdy. ---------------------- START FEMALE ---------------------- Start-Up: There's a couple ways to go about playing the start of an Ironman. The Wintertodt route ends up being the same so if you don't want to do (much) of the worst minigame in the game, skip Path I, SKIP PATH I, WINTERTODT SUCKS JUST GO TO PATH 2, WINTERTODT BLOWS (please don't do wintertodt) (actually I'm deleting wintertodt). alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide SKIPPP THIS PATHHHH BOO WINTERTODT SUCKS Path I: Start ---> Pickpocket men to 5 thieving, buy a spade from the general store, teleport to Clan Wars, recharge run energy, use the portal to end up at Castle Wars, run to Ardougne (aka Ardy), steal about 100-200 cakes, steal some inventories of silk, steal about 100-200 cakes (so 400~ total), and sell the silk. Before you teleport back to lumbridge, run just north of Ardy to get your clue hunter outfit (gloves and boots). Then you'll home teleport to lumbridge, buy a steel axe, run behind lumbridge castle, and chop/light regular and oak logs until 35 woodcutting and 35 firemaking (you'll be higher than 35 FM). Run west to Draynor and buy a chronicle, some pages, jugs of wine, teleport to Clan Wars (recharge run energy), and take the portal to Castle Wars. Once there, run all the way southwest and you'll find a singular teak tree. Chop this and light logs until 50 firemaking. Once 50 firemaking, teleport home, run all the way west to Port Sarim, talk to Veos (most northern dock), and go to Zeah. Follow your map allllll the way up to Wintertodt, and stay there until whenever you feel like leaving. (If you’re using this start, I recommend AT LEAST 80 firemaking. I also recommend not opening your crates until your other stats are higher, but we like to gamble. Hard to resist) **ACTUALLY I RECOMMEND NOT DOING THIS PATH** Silk takes 20 minutes or so before you can sell it. I recommend stealing cakes until you can sell the silk and stealing the inventories as early as you hit the thieving level <-- BOO, THIS PATH SUCKS. Path II: This is the path I take. It'll meet up with “path 1” eventually and you can follow some of this even if you’re doing Path I. It avoids Wintertodt at the start and recommends agility for money-making instead. Start ---> Pickpocket a man for 5 thieving, run to the graveyard and use Count Check to teleport to Barbarian Village, and do Stronghold of Security for 10K (make sure you have authenticator ON). If need be, kill a couple cows or chickens on the way and cook them for some extra food. Use the ladder to go up and run EAST to Varrock. If you see dwarves, you're going the wrong way. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide Use the 10K to buy 500 mind runes, 1k air runes, 100 water runes and 100 earth runes (MAKE SURE YOU SAVE ONE WATER AND EARTH FOR A QUEST). Buy a FIRE STAFF (from Zaff's), LEATHER GLOVES (from the clothes shop), and then get 13 magic on the guards using the gates to farcast. Home teleport to Lumbridge, run west to Draynor, and use most of your remaining money (make sure you keep about 500-1k gold for various items) for a chronicle (at some point when you use the chronicle, mine about 9 or 10 clay, pick up two or three redberries, and a cadavaberry) and charges from Diango. Also, buy jugs of wine from Fortunado. I'd do about 5 world hops and get 25 or so. Before you leave Draynor, grab two cheeses from Aggie's and head towards https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Witch%27s_House. A thing to note about this quest is that you CAN safespot the 3rd and 4th forms from behind the box. Make sure you have your fire staff, air runes, mind runes, two cheese, and leather gloves with you. If you need more jugs of wine, now would be the perfect time to run back to Draynor and buy more. Teleport to Clan Wars (via minigame teleports) and use the portal to restore all your run energy. Use the ground portal to be transported to Castle Wars and grab your axe, food, offensive runes, coins, and a regular jug. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Monk%27s_Friend and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fight_Arena. I recommend chopping 7 logs (1 for Monk's and 6 for another quest). *** WHENEVER THE GUIDE HAS YOU IN PORT KHAZARD OR WATERFALL QUEST, PICK UP PLANKS... YOU NEED THEM *** After the quest, run through Ardy, get a few inventories of cakes to get 25 thieving, and buy a rope for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Waterfall_Quest (REFER TO THE GUIDE. YOU'LL COMPLETE TREE GNOME VILLAGE FIRST). Take your 6 logs, offensive runes, and rope. When you start Waterfall, talk to the guy inside the bank to unlock the minigame teleport and make sure it works before leaving. When you get the Glarial's pebble from the gnome for Waterfall, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tree_Gnome_Village. You'll be right at the start point. Safe spot the boss for Tree Gnome Village by simply standing out of range and he'll run back. This might take a while. After Tree Gnome Village, use the tree and get 10 agility at Gnome Stronghold. (If you ever need more GP for runes, feel free to steal silk at Ardy, wait 20 minutes, and sell whenever you wish. You need about 1,000 GP and 100 cakes so try to have that much). When all the quests are done, home teleport to Lumbridge, run west to Draynor, buy an event RPG, get more food, get 20 agility, and do: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Restless_Ghost, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rune_Mysteries, and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Cook%27s_Assistant. alfie ironman guide How to get it for free? alfie ironman guide Go to Al Kharid, get 25 agility, use the chronicle, run to the northeast side of the GE, and use the tree to get to Gnome Stronghold. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Grand_Tree. I always run past the Black Demon to safespot him, but you have to take one hit to do so, so be very careful. You'll be 32 agility from the quest. Use the chronicle and then run to Varrock, get 40 agility here, talk to Aubury, mine 50 rune/pure essence (no, killing minotaurs for 5 drops of 10 pure essence isn't faster, trust me I tried, on all 9 accounts). Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Priest_in_Peril and run into Morytania (if you run into Swampletics take a picture for me =)). This is the most annoying part of the early game HC/IM, but it's SO GOOD, so stick to it. You need 260 marks of grace at the Canifis course. It will net you full graceful and about 56 agility. It's about 13 hours but STICK TO IT, YOU CAN DO IT GAMER. After full graceful, take your pitiful, shameful remaining GP and run through Al Kharid, buy a shantay pass, 10 or so waterskins, 10 or so cakes, and go to the Agility Pyramid. Bank when you run out of waterskins. On your second trip down, buy bronze bars. They're cheap so hop if you wish. You need about 4, but buying 50-100 isn't a bad idea either. Also, buy everything you can from Al Kharid, especially all the moulds, a ton of needles and threads, and emeralds. Buy LOTS of emeralds. I'd stay here until you have either 1M gp or about 5 or 6 hours of agility (62-63 agility). When you hit 1M gp (or you could always stop earlier), go to the mage bank and buy 1,000 Law Runes, 600 Cosmics, and 2,000-2,500 Nature Runes. *It is in 55 wilderness so you may die. You can always not do this, but your mage will be WAY harder to train up if you don't make this stop and getting around for quests will suck.* Also, make sure you complete the Ardy easy diary requirement while you're here. “Alfie I have a lot of runes, what now?” Well, the whole goal of early Ironman progress is gaining access to teleports so you need early magic levels, Ardy easy, and Fairy Rings. Use the Chronicle, go to Varrock, ransack the General Store, the Clothes Shop, and Zeke's (buy one of each elemental staff). Also, go to Horvik's and buy an iron chainbody. Finally, head to Aubury's and buy 1,000 of each elemental rune and whichever runes you wish (depending on your cash stack). alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide Step 1: 45 Magic *** IF YOU DID MAGE BANK SKIP THIS STEP *** Home teleport, buy/grab a hammer and spade (MAKE SURE YOU'RE 25 THIEVING), and head over to Veos. On your way over, buy 400 compost and take the ship to Zeah. Get Hosidius favor to 5% by pushing the umm... sand cart wheelbarrow things and repairing them. Then get 45% by banking 400 saltpetre southwest of where you were, combining them with the compost, and turning them into the clerk: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Hosidius. After this, you will want to train thieving from fruit stalls until 42 thieving. Make sure you bank all the strange fruit and golovanova fruit tops you get. When you hit 42, home teleport, head east, and do: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Feud. If you need more runes for the quest, feel free to teleport using the chronicle and pick some up in Varrock first. The tough guy has high mage defence so don't be alarmed if he takes a bit to kill. Make sure you have decent food on you. After the quest, do the Aubury subquest, play sudoku, and then you can buy runes from Ali. *** START HERE IF YOU DID MAGE BANK *** You should be 33 magic, if not, train it there by using fire strikes. Use up 400-800 or so Law Runes in the Telekinetic room with your air staff (200 points is good, you can go for 300-400 if you wish). If you do, use up 300 or so nature runes on the graveyard room, but only if you bought closer to 2,500 than 2,000 nature runes. You ***SHOULD*** be 45 magic for teleports. Teleport to Falador and buy about 10-15 wizard mind bombs (trust me, you'll use all of them). alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide Step 2: Ardy Easy ***IF I THROW IN A RANDOM QUEST, ITS FOR XP NEEDED FOR FAIRY RINGS QUEST OR PREREQUISITES*** Go to Falador General Store and get about 10 pots, 10 buckets, and bank them. Start Knight's Sword in the castle and head southwest of Falador. Pick up snape grass northwest of the crafting guild and head over to the fishing store to buy 5,000 feathers, every type of fishing device, fill up the rest of your inventory with sardines, and bank them using the bank deposit by the docks. After this, teleport to Camelot, go to the dockworkers and buy out the pineapples, buckets of sand, and soda ash. Also, buy yourself a glassblowing pipe. Hop to a few worlds if you’d like. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Murder_Mystery for 13 crafting. Go into Ardy and work on https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ardougne_Diary. While you're here, buy three silver ores, three silver bars, two spices, rubies, and more emeralds. For the fishing requirement, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Sea_Slug. You need 30 firemaking and can pick up the swamp paste from Port Khazard. After the quest, home teleport to Lumbridge, run west, and enter the dungeon (you’ll know you’re in the right area when you see a bunch of spiders). Pickpocket a H.A.M female until you get two rusty swords (keep polished buttons for Animal Magnetism) and minigame teleport to Port Khazard. Have Tindel identify a sword for you and do fishing trawler. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Sheep_Herder while you're here. ***There is a Spirit Tree below Ardy that you can use to get to Gnome Stronghold for supplies. The shop is on the floor above where the king resides to the east.*** After this, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Plague_City and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Biohazard. Once all of this is complete, Ardy easy should be done. Congratulations, second big achievement on the account :) Step 3: Fairy Rings: ***WHEN I DON’T LINK A GUIDE, YOU DON’T NEED TO DO THE QUEST YET, JUST START/DO A STEP*** alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide Teleport to Varrock, talk to Reldo about the Knight's Sword, walk to Lumbridge, on your way down, kill a rat, a cow, a chicken, and a bear, save all 4 meat. Start the 2nd Cook's Assistant quest by talking to the cook, grab the bowl and the knife, go up a floor and start the Lost Tribe by talking to Sigmund. Bank, grab 10~ bucket of sand and soda ash, and make them into molten glass. Minigame Teleport to Castle Wars, grab good food, runes and items for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Observatory_Quest (You should have them all.) After, complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Druidic_Ritual Buy a pestle and mortar from Jatix?? and about 500-1k vials of water, and 100-200 eye of newts. Teleport to Falador, and complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Black_Knights%27_Fortress, pick up a cabbage on your way to the entrance west of Edgeville. Then, teleport back to Falador and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Recruitment_Drive ***MAKE SURE YOU'RE FEMALE*** You should be 10 Herblore, which gives you the ability to complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Dig_Site Make sure you steal some tea on your way over, after the quest choose SOMETHING TO DRINK at the curator, you need it for Recipe For Disaster. Use your Ardy cape teleport, and mine 12 coal (Should be 30 mining from Digsite.) Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Gertrude%27s_Cat for 10 cooking in order to do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Recipe_for_Disaster/Another_Cook%27s_Quest (Rotten tomato is in Varrock SQ., Greenman's Ale in Yanille, Ashes by killing imps, you need 4 beads from imps so kill them whenever you see one) **** I HIGHLY ADVISE TO RAISE CATS STARTING NOW, THE DEATH RUNES WILL BE USEFUL FOR YOUR EVENTUAL IBAN'S BLAST, USE SARDINES FOR NOW*** After the Recipe for Disaster animation which takes about 10 years, go downstairs and make your redberry pie for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Knight%27s_Sword (During this quest at some point, take your cash stack, buy raw sardines and cook them for 20~ cooking, should only take a couple of minutes), ***THE BEST WAY TO GET IRON BARS IS TO GO TO THE WILDERNESS FOR THEM, TAKE CAKES AND VARROCK TELEPORT RUNES, USE F2P WORLDS ONLY https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Iron_bar#mapFullscreen *** After, Chronicle, run east, mine 4 Copper and 2 Iron, teleport to Falador, take the 6 of the 10 clay out of your bank, and go instantly complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Doric%27s_Quest alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide After this, teleport to Camelot and complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Elemental_Workshop_I and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Elemental_Workshop_II, then, teleport to Falador, and using your moulds ***SAVE ONE GOLD BAR** make as many Ring of Duelings as you can, you will rely on these for the rest of the game. ****IF AT ANY POINT YOU HIT 53-54 MAGIC SOMEHOW, DO NOT WALK, RUN TO THE NEAREST MTA ALCHEMISTS ROOM AND GO NUTS(with a few wizard mind bombs at first), ITS 130K/HR AND 2K NATS WILL GET YOU AROUND LEVEL 62-63 MAGIC*** Chronicle Teleport, and buy a rune sword from the Champion's guild, run to Varrock east bank, withdraw your rune sword, food, ghostspeak amulet, and your sickle you just made, and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Nature_Spirit. Home teleport to lumbridge, and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Lost_City. If you got lucky on a maze random, crumble undead works amazing, if not, fire striking works just fine. Also, chop 3 branches for future quests. **YOU CANNOT BRING WEAPONS OR ANYTHING WITH + STATS TO ENTRANA*** ***KEEP RAISING CATS*** Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fairytale_I_-_Growing_Pains.. YOU CAN FLINCH THE TANGLEROOT, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJ0LsgHpUVo Go to 1:30, best thing I could find on it, alternatively if you want to play it safer, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tvp0Pp-GGG8 and wait for the HP bar on the tangleroot to disappear. Some of the 3 items might be difficult, but fairy rings are amazing. After this, all you have to do is start https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fairytale_II_-_Cure_a_Queen and go up to the part where you can use the Fairy Rings. alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide Quality of life paragraph: You want to start making different jewelry here (Rings of dueling and games necklaces) These have amazing teleports, for the games necklace mostly the Wintertodt and the Barbarian assault teleports, ring of dueling is your bread and butter, you can teleport to clan wars and restore your energy back to 100%. So make as many of these as possible, whenever you can. I advise telegrabbing gold bars from under Varrock West bank. After rings, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Jungle_Potion, on your first time here, fish about 400 karambwanji, it's food for your cat so you don't have to deal with sardines anymore. Also, visit the jungle general store northwest of the village and buy 10 papyrus, 10 charcoal, and 3 bronze bars. Next, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Shilo_Village, (The quest may be a little tricky but you can safespot the boss with fire strike easily.) After this, you'll have access to Shilo Village, and I would fish here until 58 fishing and bank the fish for around 58-59 cooking ~ (This covers most of the cooking levels for RFD and gives you food for a while.) ***KEEP RAISING CATS*** **SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU DIDNT GO TO MAGE BANK*** Home teleport, buy/grab a hammer/spade(MAKE SURE YOU'RE 25 THIEVING), head over to Veos, on your way, buy 500 compost, take the ship to Zeah. Get Hosidius favor by 5% pushing the umm.. sand cart wheelbarrow things and repairing them. Then, get 45% by banking 500 Saltpetre southwest of where you were, and combining them with the compost and turning them into the Clerk (Get 20 farming here, you'll need to make about 460 fertilizer) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Xv42Xd8YCo This video should help you create the fertilizer much faster, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Hosidius. After this, you will want to train from fruit stalls until 42 thieving, make sure you bank all the strange fruit and golovanova fruit tops you get. When you hit 42, home teleport, head east, and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Feud. If you need more runes for the quest, feel free to chronicle and pick some up in Varrock first. The tough guy has high mage defence so don't be alarmed if he takes a bit to kill, make sure you have decent food on you. After the quest, do the aubury subquest, play sudoku, and then you can buy runes from Ali. alfie ironman guide How to get it for free? alfie ironman guide Pickpocket to 50 thieving, then using a games necklace teleport to burthrope, you'll be doing the https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rogues%27_Den minigame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Am_7D8b_R8 <-- This youtube video is the best one I found for it, I would use Runelite's Shift + Right click to mark all the necessary tiles that you have to click your first time through, there is no method, get through, pick a safe and pray. Took me about 2 1/2 hours but it may take you longer or shorter depending. After you get the outfit, you now have a viable way to make 100k-200k an hour depending on what level thieving you get to, you need 53 for Desert Treasure but the sky's the limit, use this to make money whenever you need cash for an item. (This method is about 1.2-1.3x better than agility pyramid and also efficient, you can always do ardy knights instead if you're lazy, up to you) Home teleport, make sure you have your rune sword, your chronicle, and a bit of cash, and kill goblins until you get a chef's hat, next, use chronicle, run to the cooking guild, and hop until you have about 20 ~ garden pies, and bank them. Then, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Shield_of_Arrav amd stay in the museum, you need 100 https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Kudos. Go downstairs, and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Natural_history_quiz for 28. (Runelite should highlight all the answers). After this, go back upstairs, and clean all the finds until you find all 5 items AND a "Clean necklace" This allows you to make digsite pendants. **VERY IMPORTANT** **ALSO IMPORTANT, KEEP RAISING CATS** After this, go upstairs and talk to Historian Minas for the final 25 points, you should have 102. Right before you leave, talk to the curator and start https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Bone_Voyage (JUST THE FIRST STEP). Empty your inventory, go to port khazard, mine 18 coal and 9 iron ore, and go to Port Khazard. Using the charter ship, hop worlds until you have 400 buckets of sand and soda ash (Buy about 200 pineapples as well), and get 40 crafting (SAVE FIVE-TEN MOLTEN GLASS). Make 9 steel bars, and games necklace to barbarian outpost, you'll need around 290 planks ~. (If you did wintertodt the number might be off, you need 25 construction, or 7842 XP, with each plank being 29 xp, yay math.) alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide Note your planks, grab 1 law and 5 air runes and cash, 4 oak logs (if you don't have them get them) and a digsite teleport, and run south to Rasolo (next to where you found the book for Waterfall Quest) and buy one limestone brick. Use the digsite teleport to do the next step of Bone Voyage. Run to the lumber mill, do the third step of the quest, and buy a saw and tons of nails (I'd say about 1.5k/2k total.) Try to buy as many steel/iron as possible (Turn your oak logs into planks). Teleport to Camelot, and get your house setup in Rimmington, run east, and you'll see a farming patch, use the bank, and fill up the compost bin with 15 pineapples. Grab cash, go to the farming shop, and buy everything, 1 of each pack and 1 of each item. Grab your hammer, saw, all your nails, cash, 1 earth, air, and law rune, and fill the rest of the inventory with as many planks as you can and note the rest. Teleport to house, use up your planks, then leave your house and to the south should be inside the first house a guy who will unnote your planks for cash. Repeat until 25 construction, build a workshop, get your crafting table two, and make 4 (or 5) clockworks with steel bars. Bank, home teleport, grab cash, run to draynor, and trade Olivia (What I like to do is use shift + right click to tag her so when I hop I can find her.) Buy 400 Barley, 400 Hammerstone, 200 Asgarnian, and 100 Jute/Yanillan (You'll have to hop a few times, but its worth it) **HEY YOU THERE, GOT A KITTEN, IF NOT GRAB IT** Now, grab 4 regular logs, 4 clockworks, hammer, chisel, pickaxe, 40 barley seeds and digsite pendant and complete Bone Voyage (obviously you need quest items too.) Unlock THREE https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fossil_Island#/media/File:Magic_Mushtree_map.png ***** NOT STICKY SWAMP **** When you get to the house on the hill, use the pendant on the strange device to unlock a teleport there. Teleport to fossil island, use the magic mushtree, press 2, setup two birdhouses (Each birdhouse takes 10 seeds) run northeast and mine volcanic ash (get about 100-200) you can also get a lot more, up to you, I'm lazy. The amount you get is based on your mining level, if you're 38 mining you'll get 2 and if you're 52 mining you'll get 3. Run back to the tree, press 4, set up the bird house north of you, then run south and setup the final birdhouse. Afterwards, run east towards the camp, and take the boat to the north of the island, and take it again to out to sea. You have to pick up your cat for this part, since it won't go underwater, make a new tab in your bank, put seed dibber, rake, magic secataurs, and spade, all your seeds, all your logs, and all your compost/buckets/any farming things you get. Grab seed dibber, rake, magic secataurs, spade, garden pie, and two compost, and go underwater. Wait for two seaweed spores to spawn (0% oxygen won't kill you, you'll just go back up to the top.) Eat garden pie, plant and compost them. Whenever it's ready, go back to camelot, take out your volcanic ash, buy 1000 buckets from the farming shop, give them noted to the tool leprachaun, take out 15, open up the compost bin, use the volcanic ash with the bin, and use your buckets to get ultracompost (You'll be using this with the seaweed from now on) alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide ***QUALIFY OF LIFE PARAGRAPH*** Make sure you always take your cat out after a birdhouse/seaweed run, and use the runelite farming timers on the right to see when your seaweed/birdhouses are ready, you get incredible farming/hunter/crafting xp for later, I'd run your whole game around doing this over and over and over, it's really essential for ironmemes, you get brews for later with bird's nest, seeds, possible emerald rings to enchant into duelings, DO THESE RUNS, I M P O R T A N T. Next, get 70 agility at seers, its about.. if you have 62-63 its about a days worth (7-8 hours), but you'll be able to raise a few cats, get a lot of hunter and farming levels, and after you're done you'll get to iban blast blue dragons for prayer (in a little bit.) When you get to about 68 or 69 agility save your kitten, don't turn it in right when you're about to hit 70, you'll need it. ***WHEN DOING DANGEROUS QUESTS --- BANK THE CAT -- IF YOU DIE TO "HES HUNGRY" YOU'LL HATE YOURSELF*** Good food can be bought from Brimhaven, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Alfonse_the_waiter stocks Karambwans, Swordfish, and Bass. Take a trip here before every "Dangerous Quest" (I'll mark dangerous quests with a ! next to the quest link so you know to bring good food) ***READ THE WHOLE PARAGRAPH BEFORE FIGHTING AGRITH-NAAR --- IF YOU WANT TO AFK ROCK CRABS UNTIL 45-46 HP, YOU CAN(but not needed)*** Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Golem and (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Shadow_of_the_Storm !) (The dyed silverlight DOES count as a black clothing as of a recent update, guide is wrong.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMGfIvzS-y4 Use this video for flinching, bring your rune sword though, you only need the darklight for the final hit. For the final hit you HAVE To stay next to him, I'd use xp drops, PUT THE REWARD INTO RANGE XP, RANGE XPPP. alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide ***WHEN YOU HIT 45 FARMING, START USING THE FARMING GUILD, DO THE CONTRACTS AND USE THE BIG COMPOST BIN FOR ULTRACOMPOST, YOU NEED TO PLANT SWEETCORN AT SOME POINT FOR BARROWS GLOVES, TAKE CARE OF IT, GO GAMER GO*** https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Recipe_for_Disaster/Freeing_Evil_Dave <-- as soon as possible then sell the cat. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Vampire_Slayer, and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Fremennik_Trials. After this, you'll get 50 attack doing chaos druids north of Ardounge (this will also get you 30 herblore for One Small "Favour" and Eadgar's Ruse.) Bank all herbs. You can train strength to 40-45 if you wish as well but as long as you get to 50 attack you're good to go. Also, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Shades_of_Mort%27ton for Serum 20X (Easy potion with Tarromin and Ashes, hop to F2P for fastest ashes, make them the same way you made the fertilizer earlier on) You're going to do (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Underground_Pass !), you'll have 70 agility, so you shouldn't fall that often. Remember your path, if you fail too many times and take 15 damage (from the course that damages you from taking the wrong path, use runelite markers to remember your path and restart.) If you're not a HC, not a big deal. The big spider fight you have to safespot it on the east side with the dead skeletons. You won't have protection prayers, so keep your hp high when the big spider dies, all the little ones will attack you. **YOU SHOULD A L W A Y S be doing seaweed/birdhouse runs*** After this quest is completed, you SHOULD have around 2k-2.5k death runes, if you don't, go do barbarian fishing until you do, it's your punishment for not raising cats. Also, go to Varrock and buy about 10k fire runes. When you have that many, you're going to need 43 prayer (or 44 for eagle eye up to you.) You're going to teleport to chronicle, go inside, start Dragon Slayer, go to edge, talk to Oziach, go back to the chronicle, talk to him about EVERY AVAILABLE OPTION, key to Melzar's maze, then home teleport to Lumbridge. Go up to the second floor and talk to the duke, he will hand you an Anti-Dragon Shield. Teleport to Falador, craft an amulet of magic, take full graceful, your ibans staff, and go to Taverly Dungeon, use the shortcut and run to the spot that's marked in https://gyazo.com/1a0e5e088e2d58abaf98fa11c0119941. Bring 5 salmon, and teleport runes to falador every trip, you're going to need to make 6 trips ~ for 43-44 prayer, bank the bones, leave the blue d hide there. (Side note, iban blasting blue dragons is really cool, you're welcome :]) alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide ***IF YOU HAVE 53-54-55 MAGIC GO TO MTA AND BLOW THROUGH 1K-2K NATURE RUNES FOR 61-62 magic at the Alchemy room (Leave yourself about 200 nats)*** Do not use the bones yet, go do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Merlin%27s_Crystal and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Holy_Grail. Afterwards, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Goblin_Diplomacy and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Lost_Tribe. Then, buy a dorgeshuun crossbow, bolts, and make 270 iron knives (if you don't have bars, get them.) Head over to Vannaka and get your first slayer task, you're going to be training slayer with range, hopefully you get a good task, you need requirements for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Animal_Magnetism (Including https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ernest_the_Chicken) . (When you start Animal Magnetism, do an inventory of Dragon Bones NOW so that you have ectotokens for the next quest.) Do, then do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ghosts_Ahoy 6 redberries, 3(or 6) onions, and 6 woad leaves plus a bit of cash at Aggie will give you all the dyes you need for the quest, if you want, pick up extra dyes for future quests. Once Ghosts Ahoy is done, you're ready to train prayer, buy buckets of slime at the charter (pref port khazard, always buy buckets of sand and soda ash on each world, you need 61 crafting, tis a grind my dudes.) Once you have 150, wear your amulet of ghostspeak, grab 9 pots, 9 buckets of slime and 9 dragon bones, and your ectophile, and use up all your bones on the altar. You should be 44 or 45 prayer. Now that you have protection prayers, you're going to need prayer potions, and the best way to do this is Eadgar's Ruse. You should have extra death runes left over, use Iban's on EVERY QUEST YOU CAN, it's fun, and speeds up boss fights really fast. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Death_Plateau (I suggest using Games Necklaces for all of these quests, buy more sapphires/telegrab gold bars if you have to) do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Troll_Stronghold ***RELEASE BOTH PRISONERS,** then do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Eadgar%27s_Ruse **YOU NEED THREE GOUTWEED, DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL YOU HAVE THREE*** You should have the level to make prayer potions, if you need snape grass, I recommend minigame teleporting to tithe farm, running northeast to the little shore patch with 4 fishing spots, theres 10 snape grass spawns there. If you ever run out of prayer pots, you know where to find the chaos druids. alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide Now that you have prayer potions, it's time to train some combat stats through quests, first on the list is (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragon_Slayer !) Monkey Madness is next, you want to keep protect from melee up until you reach the archers, then before you run up to where you get put in the jail, switch to protect from range. Once you escape the jail, keep protect from melee on in the grass, outside of the grass, pray range. I suggest killing a Gorilla, an Archer, and a Zombie gorilla, and yoinking 4 talismans from the monkey child during this quest for Recipe For Disaster later down the line. Also, choose Attack and Defence for the combat training. For the boss fight, pray MAGIC. (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Monkey_Madness_I !) For more Strength experience, you also want to complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Scorpion_Catcher and (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Haunted_Mine !) **Treus Dayth is a difficult boss fight, but with iban's and karambwans you should be fine, BRING ECTOPHIAL IF YOU HAVE NO FOOD** ***REMEMBER THAT ! MEANS YOU HAVE TO VISIT BRIMHAVEN AND BUY FOOD*** ***DO NOT USE YOUR SUPER RESTORES FROM ZOGRE FLESH EATERS*** 1 The funnest thing to do now in my opinion, is to prepare for a difficult quest at your level, but you can do it! You're going to do !!!https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Desert_Treasure!!! (The reason for this, if you care, is to buy an Ancient Staff after Desert Treasure since it's > rune scim and your melee training weapon to 60 Attack, you also keep it for Slayer later.) First on the list is Temple of Ikov, I suggest getting range through slayer, and do (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Horror_from_the_Deep !) but if a task is too hard, sand crabs on Zeah work just fine, bone bolts with dorgeshuun is your best range training method until.. well.. forever. Get 40 range, then head over to Puro Puro, bring snares, you need three things from here. (THE RUNELITE "Implings" PLUGIN WORKS A M A Z I N G HERE, USE IT, click the cog, have it show Gourmet imps, Eclectic imps, and Young imps) Talk to the gnome dude, get the 3 jars, catch anything, trade in for 3 more jars per imp until desired amount of jars. You need a Yew Longbow from Young imps (1/100), a Chef's Delight from Gourmet Imps, and Gold Bars from eclectics (You dont NEED gold bars.. but they're SO NICE, you can also get Blue D' Hide chaps *1/100*.. they also have medium clue scrolls if you wanna try your luck *1/25) Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Temple_of_Ikov, you need AT LEAST 15~ ice arrows, I always choose to change to good because killing Lucien is easy. Next, you need super restores for the ice part, and the only quest that can give you that is Zogre Flesh Eaters, so do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Big_Chompy_Bird_Hunting, and then do (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Zogre_Flesh_Eaters !) ***SAVE THE SUPER RESTORES*** For Zogre Flesh Eaters, I suggest using dueling rings to get rid of disease, making the balm is pointless, and do the boss fight with safe spot, pray RANGE, and use crumble undead, works like a charm. alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide After this, you're going to do **XP INTO SMITHING AND SMITHING AGAIN** https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Tourist_Trap. After all quests are completed, you're going to teleport to Camelot and get 60 woodcutting, the way you do this is the oak trees near the bank, bank all the oak logs, you'll need them later for Construction, you need about 1600.~ After you bank 1600, feel free to get 60 woodcutting however you like, although you need to get 50 firemaking as well, its Wintertodt time. You're going to Wintertodt, and you need 12 magic logs. 60 woodcutting allows you entrance into the https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Woodcutting_Guild but it ALSO gives you a much higher chance at magic logs. If.. you did the wintertodt path.. skip this unless you don't have magic logs, in which case you have to go back, USELESS PATH 1. Anyway, I'd suggest https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Clue_hunter_gloves, fire staff, and Rainbow Scarf from Diango (In Draynor Village.) Once you get the magic logs, get out, but if you want to stay, hey be my guest, your boredom, that place sucks, IF YOU STAY TILL 99 YOU GET A CAPE THAT GIVES YOU A FREE LIGHT, WOWEE. **READ EVERYTHING I HAVE TO SAY BEFORE EMBARKING ON QUEST, IF YOU DONT HAVE 62-63 MAGIC.. GO THIEVE THEN BUY NATS FROM ALI AND DO MTA** ALWAYS bank your diamonds as soon as you get them, Desert Treasure is broken into four different parts, I have a few tips and tricks for each one. Ice Diamond: Two trips, one to kill the five trolls, you can do so with Iban's, should only use one dose of super restore, NEVER take off pray melee, THEY WILL KILL YOU (should be HC, if not, what killed you? probably wintertodt.. stupid minigame.) On the SECOND trip, take 20 karambwans, BOTH super restores, a prayer pot, ectophial for 1-click teleport, and runes to cast both Fire Blast and Fire Bolt, bank the iban's staff and bring a fire/air staff instead. Pray mage until Kamil teleports next to you, switch to pray melee, auto retaliate ON, and use mostly fire bolt. You can click the spell then Kamil but auto retaliate works just fine. As I always say, keep your HP high and your dreams higher. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide Shadow Diamond: Most of this is fairly simple, but if you bring air runes and mind runes, you can aggro a bat, and he'll stand in the way of you and Damis. After that, earth blast pray melee and AFK. Blood Diamond: This one I have a REALLY good trick, check it out: https://gyazo.com/b40072370ce6c54db4b7511f9bb7665c Do this while fighting Dessous and he just does nothing. Smoke Diamond: No advice, easy. Once you have all four diamonds, use Strange fruit and energy potions, bring prayer pots as well, and I advise to keep clicking every chance you can. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Desert_Treasure alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide Once the quest is complete, buy an Ancient Staff where you looked into the mirrors for 80K, and do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/One_Small_Favour (Horrible quest, XP LAMPS INTO HERBLORE, BOTH OF EM.) Next, you're going to do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Heroes%27_Quest (For the mining requirement, I suggest doing sandstone mining at the quarry https://gyazo.com/f969faefc6eb1be0e692d6c868f74d4f, bring 8 waterskins, desert top and bottom, and 3 ticking stuff(1) if you want it, cash, and about 10,000 buckets noted. Mine until level 50, and collect your buckets of sand (50 GP each.) Use your giant seaweed that you collected from seaweed/birdhouse runs on a fire to create 6 sand ash each, this is your crafting method ALL the way up to 61. Next, do (! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Family_Crest !) and this takes you to the wilderness, but only level 3, so just be careful. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Watchtower/Quick_guide for Magic XP and a quick teleport to Yanille. I suggest STARTING https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Giant_Dwarf now and getting the minigame teleport to blast furnace, and using Goldsmith Gauntlets for 50 smithing. After this, you'll be sitting at decent amount of QP's, and you need Barrows Gloves (Remember the RFD subquests give you EIGHT quests points.) I suggest ALL the free quests, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Romeo_%26_Juliet, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Corsair_Curse, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Imp_Catcher, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Pirate%27s_Treasure, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Prince_Ali_Rescue, REMEMBER BIRDHOUSE/SEAWEED RUNS, also keep raising cats. Sheep shearer is 5 seconds, as is witch's potion and x marks the spot. Members quests I recommend: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Client_of_Kourend (*FAVOR INTO Port Piscarilius ALWAYS*) Clock Tower is easy, as is https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Creature_of_Fenkenstrain, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Eyes_of_Glouphrie is a free 22 runecrafting, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Making_History (I'd suggest MAKING necklace of passages for this). Also, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fishing_Contest (You need for RFD.) **KEEP DOING Birdhouse/Seaweed Runs** alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Regicide and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Roving_Elves for the strength XP and also CHOOSE BOW (You need it for the Fire Cape down the line.) I also hard recommend https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Olaf%27s_Quest, this gives rubies which are digsite pendants and also the ability to get Brine Rats as slayer tasks, which gives a chance at a Brine Saber, which you can use to kill Lobstrocities, for seaweed spores. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/In_Aid_of_the_Myreque and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/In_Search_of_the_Myreque. Also complete https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Mountain_Daughter and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/The_Depths_of_Despair. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dwarf_Cannon. If you want to do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Legends%27_Quest, you can, VERY dangerous quest, but the herblore experience is AMAZING, if not, knock out https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tower_of_Life and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tai_Bwo_Wannai_Trio. With these and the RFD quest points, and possible one or two more quest points, you'll be ready for *** !https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Recipe_for_Disaster! *** With this guide, all the subquests SHOULD be done, and you should just have to start cooking food. I recommend mess hall to 66 cooking before you do ANY of this, because the burn rate will be much lower. Once you get to the boss fight, if you are scared, you CAN afk sand crabs until 65/65 and get defenders and have no problem beating it. That's up to you, if you want to go in early, hats off to you. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide If you decide to go in early, a few things you should note for each fight, BANK IN BETWEEN EACH FIGHT TO GET FOOD *Agrith-Naar is strong, you need tanky armor, pots, full inventory of Karambwan, and ring of recoils. Also, while you're eating, step under. *2nd boss is easy, just snare with ice gloves and keep distance. *3rd is easy, just stand next to her and hit her with fire bolt *4th is Dessous, bring good food, and iban blast him. alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide *5th is Dagganoth Mother, one of the hardest, you need super tanky armor and combo food. *Culinaromancer can hit 25's with magic, bring d'hide Either way, with barrows gloves completed, the next goal is defenders and 75 combat to start using Konar as a Slayer Master. If you did RFD early, you'll need help hitting the 65/65 to get defenders, and there's two ways to go about it #1: Sand crabs/rock crabs/ammonite crabs - Bring super attack, regular attack, and Dragon Battleaxe, use battleaxe spec, regular attack, and super attack, and repeat and afk until 65/65 alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide #2: My recommendation is https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Nightmare_Zone (Costs 26,000 gp per dream), Bring prayer pots, everything mentioned above, and I STRONGLY suggest getting a Dragon Dagger from Zanaris (Need 1x Diamond.) Get an extra Rock Cake (From RFD Dwarf sub-quest,) and bank it. Choose Rumble (hard) and choose the mountain daughter bear, Depths of Despair snake, Vampire Slayer boss, Aid of the Myreque skeleton hellhound, and Tree Spirit from Lost City. Get 100,000 points. Afterwards, bank everything and bring your dragon dagger (if you're 60 attack) and your rock cake. Buy 28 overload doses and 100 absorption pots, start the dream, rock cake down to 51 hp, then use the overload to sit at 1 hp, and spam absorptions until you have 1000. This way, when a monster deals damage it only does 1, re-rock cake/overload as necessary. The reason why I recommend this is because you need points to imbue your Black Mask eventually, and its pretty good xp. Also, as a reminder again, before you start actual slayer, get your dragon defender, also do a birdhouse run right now, I see you. After you hit 75 combat, you'll be in the mid-game, and while most people go about this differently (and my strongest advice is to play the game however YOU find it the most fun), I have a few tips and tricks that'll make your life a little less miserable :). --------------------------------------------------------- Boosting Tasks ---------------------------------------------------------- When you start your slayer journey, you'll want to jump right into https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Konar_quo_Maten (Fairy ring CIR and run northeast.) But I advise against it. You need slayer unlocks, and points for skips. I'll give my recommendation for what you should unlock, but first, take out a pickaxe and a chisel from the bank, go to Shilo Village, get about 15 opals and save all the Red Topaz, and make https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Expeditious_bracelet. Teleport to Burthrope, and get tasks from Tureal until it says "You have completed 9 tasks and zero points blablabla" alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide *Birds are chickens *Lizards are Sulphur Lizards found in Konar's dungeon (Slayer requirement 44, otherwise desert) *Dogs are Jackals, found DLQ (8 spawns) *Ghosts! Congratulations, you GET to do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Kourend_%26_Kebos_Diary MEDIUM, while you're at it, kill lizardman and get a Xeric's Talisman (Do Kourend & Kebos easy first). Ghosts are found in the Kourend Dungeon using the Xeric's Heart teleport. *Minotaurs and Wolves are found in the first level of Stronghold of Security where you got your 10K, hop for wolves, minotaurs spawn quick. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide *Zombies are undead chickens and cows where you did Animal Magnetism, use Ectophial. *Rats are found in the varrock dungeon and have 2 hp, alternatively you CAN kill brine rats if you're 47 slayer for a chance at Brine Saber (Seaweed Spore method) *Skeletons are found at the end of the Digsite Quest, 13 spawns, use digsite teleport on the pendant and a rope. Once you're at 9 tasks, get a task from Konar, you'll get extra points at 10, 50, and 100 tasks. Boost for as long as you want, but you need to boost for AT LEAST 50 tasks (I'd do 100.) ------------------------------------------------ Important uses for points from best to worst --------------------------------------- alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide Remember, this is simply my opinion, theres no right or wrong way to spend points, unless you don't block black demons, then you're an idiot. Also, always wear a ring of life(HCIM) Also, when you hit 58 Slayer, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rum_Deal and https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Cabin_Fever and don't walk, run to the nearest cave horror with a witchwood icon and light source until you get a Black Mask (15% attack and str on task) #1: Block Black Demons / 100 points (or do 150 Black Demons at 65 atk and 68 strength, then when you realize you made a mistake, block them.) #2: Bigger and Badder / 150 points (Gives Superior Monsters which gives additional Slayer experience and a possible super rare drop like the Imbued Heart and the Eternal Gem) #3: Extend Bloodvelds / Abberant Spectres / Dust Devils / Gargoyles / Nechs *50 Slayer / *60 Slayer / *65 Slayer / *75 Slayer / *80 Slayer alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide #4: Block other tasks such as hellhounds (100 points per block,) Herb Sack(I RECOMMEND GETTING THIS FROM TITHE FARM IN THE NEXT SECTION, 750 points,) Rune Pouch(750 points,) Broader Fletching(300 points,) Slayer Helm(400 points,) Ring Bling(300 Points, Crafting section) *When you start doing Slayer for location tasks/boss tasks, switch from Konar to Nieve, let's say you want to do Lizardman Shamans, and Demonic Gorillas, and DKS, switch. The ultimate goal is to start using Duradel at combat 100, when you hit 100 combat, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Karamja_Diary hard diary (Way later on, don't worry about it too much right now, come back here) -------------------------------------------------------------Herblore Training-------------------------------------------------------- The way to start training your herblore is by using fairy ring CIR and going into the https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Farming_Guild (45 Farming requirement.) If you aren't 45 farming, you haven't been following my guide at all -.- You can use a garden pie at 42 to get in, anyway, talk to Guildmaster Jane and get a Farming Contract. I would HIGHLY recommend farming timers on Runelite to keep track of contracts, and turn them in as soon as possible for a seed pack from Jane. These can give herb seeds, but the contracts get better at 65. Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Tithe_Farm and get Herb Sack (Has a 58 herblore requirement) and Seed Box. Leave the 250 point herb sack in there for now until you hit 58. alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide If you need more help with herb seeds, you can use full rogues, make Dodgy Necklaces (exp bracelets but the necklace,) and pickpocket master farmers, every hour you get anywhere from 15-20 herb seeds which is 3 or 4 farm runs, the patches I use are these --> *The best seed to use for the moment are Irits, since the secondary is Eye of Newt and super easy to get. You should also start planting Limpwurt Seeds for Kwuarms, since those are your super strengths, use regular compost. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use Ultracompost on herb patches. Remember, pineapples/watermelons --> compost bin (I like the use the big one in the farming guild) Open, use volcanic ash, grab, repeat. This is for amazing potions, I hate farming too, but its worth it. #1: Farming Guild (65 Farming requirement) #2: Ardounge, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Ardougne_Diary MEDIUM, kill Angry Barbarian Spirits for the mithril grapple, or just wait until 59 smithing/fletching (can boost with spicy stew.) Otherwise, teleport to Ardounge and run North-East. #3: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Lumbridge_%26_Draynor_Diary MEDIUM diary. Otherwise (no otherwise, do the diary, you lazy frick.) Teleport to Falador and run southeast, its a longgg run, so do the diary :) #4: Ectophial and run past the undead chickens. alfie ironman guide How to get it for free? alfie ironman guide #5: Camelot and run east. #6: Xeric's Talisman to Glade and run South-West (If you're low on charges in your talisman, put your house to Hosidius and get to the farming patch from there) --------------------------------------------------------------What's Next?----------------------------------------------------- The Mid-Game starts, and the early game comes to a close, this is the part of the game where most Ironman and Hardcore Runescapers in the land of Gielnor quit, and for good reason, mid game SUCKS. But, I've thrown in a few tips and tricks to make your mid game not nearly as boring. Doing MM2 as quickly as possible to kill demonics for Zenytes is one, also going for DS2 is another, I suggest whenever you're afk with family or watching a boring movie that your girlfriend picked out you train your range at sand crabs/ammonite crabs. Use the medium diary to use the sand crab island for free south of Hosidius. Your goal for range here over the next few weeks or couple months is 80-85 ~, you'll need it for Lizardman Shamans, Demonic Gorillas, and Dragon Slayer II. Your first goal is to get 70 Crafting for Monkey Madness II. Mining buckets of sand at the Quarry & using your giant seaweed on the range in Hosidius with 100% favor until 61 Crafting is the best way to train. I suggest doing all of 60 Mining at the quarry, and buying as much of the buckets of sand as you can. Then, do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Lunar_Diplomacy and "! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dream_Mentor!" when you hit 85 combat. Dream Mentor is an extremely difficult fight where you'll need good food and a quick way out, the best way to combat the four bosses is by using Iban's Blast and a full inventory of Karambwans. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide You'll be doing Slayer for money, I suggest unlocking Lizardman Shamans as quickly as possible to start making money, you need 100% Shayzien Favor, T5 armor, Rune Crossbow, and Broader Fletching. Rune Crossbow can be acheived several ways, you can either kill Crazy Archeologist for it, or you can get 64 fletching and boost to make it yourself. If you want to train your fletching, you can buy mithril/steel arrowtips at either the ranging guild or catherby to hit 52 for broad arrows then buy broad arrows until you hit 55 (or 64 if you don't decide to go to Crazy Archeologist.) Crazy Archeologist(Optional): I suggest making a ring of wealth for this, and charging it at the fountain of rune. Run up to 50 wildy in F2P then hop to a members world, charge it, and instantly switch back to F2P, this is how I got my RCBow and how I suggest you get yours, unless you want to craft it yourself, up to you. Then, always wielding the ring of wealth, kill Crazy Arch with Iban's, always ready to teleport, and repeat until 2x crossbows. Afterwards, you have a few money requirements, and you're probably broke at this point, you're going to have to get used to being broke, unless you did 99 thieving, which makes you a lunatic, but for us normal people, here's a list of things you need money for (no paticular order, but I suggest MM2 first to kill demonic gorillas, INSANE money): Also, if you're ever too broke to buy/do something, I always suggest doing more slayer, you need 99 in all stats combat wise for the late game, might as well do you tasks, make money, then spend it as soon as you can, it does nothing in your bank. ****************************NEVER STOP DOING BIRDHOUSE RUNS/GIANT SEAWEED/FARM RUNS/FARMING GUILD CONTRACTS**************************** alfie ironman guide PasteShr alfie ironman guide #1: Kingdom of Miscellenia https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Managing_Miscellania Two quests, 750K initial cash + 75K a day, you put your supplies into 10 herb and 5 teaks for construction later. #2: Monkey Madness II: (70 Crafting Requirement, which requires magic, I suggest throwing as much money as you can into Nature Runes and do the Alchemists room which is 130K magic xp/about 850 nature runes an hour.) You can also do Dust Devil tasks at 65 Slayer, but this requires an exceptional amount of RNG with hitting the correct task. Once you hit 75 magic, you can use your buckets of sand from the quarry and giant seaweed and use superglass make (withdraw 3 giant seaweed/18 soda ash, use spell, bank the molten glass, you have to pick up extras from the ground, and make lantern lenses until desired level.) At 69 Slayer, do *!!!!! https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Monkey_Madness_II!!!!!* (Do https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Roving_Elves first and pick the Crystal Bow for the Glough fight) Monkey Madness II is an EXTREMELY difficult quest, so I'll be giving a few tips and tricks, use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j18Pwu1esI guide for the agility path ONLY, once you get to Kruk, use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKAOSzi281Q (It's a little laggy, but the safespot is correct.) The rest of the quest is easier, but I suggest using https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Monkey_Madness_II#/media/File:Monkey_Madness_II_-_Glough_phase_3_method.gif for the final phase of Glough (Make sure you're 70 range) alfie ironman guide How to use it? alfie ironman guide Once Monkey Madness II is completed, congratulations! Instantly unblock and extend Black Demons, and do all your tasks in the catacombs, you need an Arclight for Demonics. (Ancient Shards) #3: Dragon Slayer II: The main things you need for DS2 is 68 mining and 70 smithing, I suggest doing ALL of your mining at the quarry. You don't have to take out all the buckets of sand now, but you need 93 crafting eventually so might as well take care of it bit by bit. Once you're 68 mining, you need 70 smithing. I suggest buying gold ore from Blast Furnace (you'll need around 4M~.) Then, once you're 70 smithing, boost a +3 to make around 300 Ruby Bolts and 150 Diamond Bolts (You get adamant bars from Demonic Gorillas.) (Also, you probably need more than this for the Vorkath kills, this is just a rough estimate.) Tips and Tricks for https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Dragon_Slayer_II: #1: A good tip is to wait until you've done enough slayer/farm runs to reach the level to make antifires which is 69 Herblore, or 65 (or so,) this will mean you're probably pretty high slayer/range/hp if you do farm runs inbetween slayer tasks. alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide #2: You need high healing food for boss fights, what I did is collect your saradomin brews from Demonic Gorillas and use that for Galvek. #3: The Galvek fight is frustrating, if you don't have a main account and your only account is HC, I don't really have a good answer? But I definitely wouldn't go in without at least 2 hours of practice and/or watching YT guides for the fight, otherwise you'll probably die. If you're an iron (or regular account leeching advice from this,) you will probably die a good amount but the backpack is amazing Once DS2 is complete you'll be well on your way to being a late game iron, my only advice here is to tough it out, and do as many shamans/demonics early so you don't have to do them off task later. Also, extended dust devils and nechs are your friends, and are the best slayer/xp an hour by doing burst tasks. I would train strength until 85 slayer then get a whip to train attack and defence. Once your defence level is 90+ you can consider unlocking Avainsies (Arma) and do Zammy on your Greater Demon tasks for various boss content. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Kree%27arra/Strategies (90+ Range Requirement / Ability to make Saradomin Brews/Bones to Peaches.) I'd suggest watching a couple youtube videos on how to lure the boss and you need red/black chinchompas for each trip, although if you go for black chinchompas on a hardcore, well.. you'll die :). Also, pray range. The Armadyl Chestplate and Armadyl Chainskirt are both BiS range accuracy and mage defence. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/K%27ril_Tsutsaroth/Strategies (90 strength/arclight/Karils top and bottom/anglerfish*93hp*/DWH requirements.) I would wait until 87 slayer to do barrows for a ktop before you challenge Kril otherwise you'll take a lot of damage. Kril can max 86 hp in 1 tick which is why I recommend anglerfish and 93 hp to stay above max health so you're pretty safe. You pray melee until Kril dies then switch to range prayer after. Once again I recommend videos and make sure you always have antipoisons since the poison hits 20's. alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide When you hit 87 Slayer the game unlocks for you, switch to Konar slayer master and rush the Trident of the Seas from Kraken. (I'd kill the baby Krakens since they have a 1/200 chance as opposed to 1/512 from the boss.) Then, switch to the boss for the Kraken Tentacle, you'll use your extra whips on any kind of bossing you do. Once you have the trident, you can do one of two things, either barrows, or Zulrah (As a hardcore, you want to get 93 slayer to do the entirety of https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Western_Provinces_Diary before going to Zulrah) ---------------------------------------------------------------Barrows----------------------------------------------------------------- You can do barrows before 87 slayer with iban's, but the most efficient way is this: Get trident, get hard https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Morytania_Diary, build https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Portal_chamber(50 construction) and direct a portal to barrows, inventory can be technically whatever you like, all you need is a banking method and teleports to house (don't even need tabs since you build the portal.) Kill all 6 brothers, get 88%, loot chest, repeat until items desired In my opinion, useful items are as follows: #1: Karil's Leathertop: Has the highest magic defence while also not killing off melee accuracy like Armadyl pieces, useful in a ton of places. To be completely honest with you, I underrate barrows hard, I don't think many of the items are useful, but if you aren't a prayer flicking loser like me, tank legs/top are pretty good, and when you spam Zulrah, the Ahrim's will help a fair bit. Other than that, you can get a ton of runes for your onyx's for Zenytes from here, death and chaos runes for burst tasks, feel free to stay a while, or stay a little, here's a helpful barrows guide that I found and hopefully it helps you out :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4qfSyn2Gbk (Don't need barrows tabs, you'll have the portal) alfie ironman guide How to get it? alfie ironman guide ---------------------------------------------------------------Zulrah------------------------------------------------------------------ If you're a HARDCORE, SKIP THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE WESTERN ELITE (93 Slayer) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUBiICASgN8 is a guide I found because I'm way too lazy to do one of my own. Once again, get 87 slayer, get trident, get 76 agility, rune crossbow with broad bolts (or runite bolts) works fine. Also, I would set your house to Brimhaven because you will be needing to buy antipoisons, a lot, my suggestion is to wait until the venom almost does 8 damage to use an anti dose since it doesnt clear venom and only refreshes it. Don't get frustrated if it takes you a long time to learn Zulrah, he/she/it isn't an easy boss, and takes time to master. Four completely random rotations is difficult to memorize, but you'll get it down, I have faith in you. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Zulrah. The main item you're looking for from Zulrah is the Tanzanite Fang, very strong range weapon that is used in practically every single end game piece of content Runescape has to offer. Notable mentions are the Serpentine Visage which makes it so you no longer need antipoisons, and Magic Fang which gives a +3 damage boost to your trident. ----------------------------------------------------------------Cerberus--------------------------------------------------------------- alfie ironman guide How to dowload it? alfie ironman guide At 91 slayer, unblock hellhounds, you'll now be a full time 3 headed dog hunter, you're looking for only one item, (although most people think it's important to get 3) the Primordial Crystal. They offer a +1 bonus to strength which really isn't that much but BiS is a flex and that's pretty much all ironmen are. Moving from one flex to the other until eventually you're on hour 165 of agility going for 99 wondering why a stupid cape is all that important. Contemplating why the 3000 marks of grace make you so proud but your parents so disappointed. Anyway, https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Cerberus/Strategies and the best guide I found is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNiTKQD2pag. Notable mentions are the other crystals, the Pegasian Crystal and Eternal Crystal. Pegs attach to Ranger Boots(from Medium clues, have fun) and Eternals attach to Infinity Boots (from MTA, have fun.) And last but not least, have fun getting 60 runecrafting :) Hey, where'd all your prayer pots go? Need a link for master farmers? Here you go https://oldschoolrunescape.fandom.com/wiki/Master_Farmer ------------------------------------------------------------93 Slayer and Beyond------------------------------------------------------- alfie ironman guide How to get it for free? alfie ironman guide As a Hardcore, when you hit 93 slayer you can finally work on Western Elite, but, regardless of status, at 93 slayer you unlock Smoke Devils, which give the rare and valuable Occult Necklace(10% magic damage), it's also your third burst task. At 95 Slayer you unlock https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Alchemical_Hydra/Strategies and the best guide is by Mr Mammal here :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX0m5i9Mjt8. You're looking for the Hydra's Claw, and you combine it with the Zamorakian Hasta from Kril to make a Dragon Hunter Lance, this is BiS for any dragon, including Hydra, Chambers of Xeric, etc. Once you complete Hydra, you're way into the late game and you can pretty much do whatever you want. I recommend Chambers of Xeric and Theater of Blood, although I'm not quite sure how to get started on ToB, CoX can be started by going to https://wedoraids.com/ and signing up there. I hope you guys find this guide useful and I had a ton of fun writing it! alfie ironman guide
