Ultimate Guide to Emulating 4 Ultimate on PC with Multiplayer. 

1. Download Citra Valentin 13.4 from:

2. Extract the file somewhere and double click citra-valentin-qt.exe to start the program up
3. Configure to your liking, adding controller, profile etc. Specific options below:
	General > Limit Speed Percent - 100%
	General > CPU Clock Speed - 100%
	System > Audio > Emulation - HLE
	Graphics > Internal Res - Any (Will have to play around with this to get the FPS how you want it)
	Graphics > Stereoscopic 3D Mode - Off (Depth 0%)

	Graphics > Advanced > Turn on:
		Enable Hardware Renderer
		Sharpen Distant Objects
		Ignore Format Reinterpretation (Important to fix roar stutter)
		Enable Hardware Shader		
		Enable Shader JIT
		Reduce Stuttering by saving Shaders to Disk

4. Download the FXAA shader from:

	(Place it in: "C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\Citra\shaders" Then enable on Graphics > Postprocessing Shader FXAA)

5. Download the game. (I have provided a link to a decrypted and ready version of the game plus 1.1 update.)

6. Extract game + update into a folder somewhere and point Citra to said folder. 
7. Update the game with File > Install .cia then select the update .cia in the folder. 
8. Boot the game and get to the main menu but don't go any further.
9. Click Emulation > Cheats > Add cheat code:

	This will remove the dithering effect and other things to make the game look much cleaner and sharper. Save the cheat code and enable it. Close the emulator after this. 
10. Exdata for DLC quests. Download from:
	https://drive.google.com/file/d/19AG2i3eOZQ1lm6jzYK8kzTx2MamieWkY/view
	Right click MH4U on the Citra UI and click "Open Extra Data Location" and paste the "user" folder there. Overwrite if asked.

11. Play the game. It's ready to go.

Multiplayer can be accessed via Citra and setting up rooms, join and then host a lobby on MH4U like you would on 3DS.

[Optional step] HD Texture Pack

1. In Citra go to Configure > Graphics > Enable custom textures. (Do not select pre load the texture pack is way too big for that.)
2. Download from:

3. Extract somewhere.

4. Right click MH4U in the Citra UI again and click "Open Custom Texture Location" open each .rar file and paste the folders into the Custom Texture Location folder. 
	(You should have 6 folders in this location named "Maps, Models, UI" etc etc. 
5. Go into UI folder theres 3 archives for PS, Xbox and Default buttons if you wish to use a different set of control icons. 
6. Run the game.

If for some reason the cheat code doesn't help you maintain a solid 60fps.
