** First run guide **
* Level each hero to 10, get its upgrade then move to next hero.  After you are 3-5 heroes past you can go back and get the upgrades that are worth it (+20% all heroes dps for example). *
* Farm gold on the highest lv you can beat, no matter how long it takes, you will always get the most gold per minute here. *
* First run (ascension) takes a while, gets much faster after that. *
* Aim to get to lv 130-140 first run, this will earn you from 8-14 HS (hero souls) then ascend. *
* Ascend or ascension is a skill purchased from Amenhotep lv 150, it resets your game back to lv 1 and gives you HS if you are past lv 100. *
* HS are earned by two methods - every 2000 hero levels and by killing a primal boss (random chance to get a primal boss every 5 lvs after lv 99). *

** After first run tips **
* After your first ascension you should save your game to disk on your computer so you don't lose it! *
* Now that you have some HS you should think about ancients (perm buffs that stay after ascension. *
* After you save your save data is coppied to your clipboard to paste, paste it into - http://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/clickerheroes/ancientssoul.html - this site gives you three pieces of info you should care about listed below.  This tool is known as a calc or calculator*
* Calc info 1: Shows the optimal distribution of HS into Ancients you own. *
* Calc info 2: Shows new ancients you should look at getting, how much % better it will make your HS collection and finally exactly how many rolls it will take to get said ancient! *
* Calc info 3: Later in the game you will be collecting Gilds (every 10 levels that are your highest lv seen you get a random hero gilded).  The calc will show you the optimal distribution on your heroes. *
